History of School

In 1996 Late Sh. Gurcharan Singh Tohra (President S.G.P.C.) took an initiative with the other prominent personalities of the area to establish NANKANA SAHIB PUBLIC SCHOOL, for providing education on Public School Pattern to rural children so that they can compete successfully with urban counterparts for entry into various Public Services. The School started working temporarily from the building trusted to it near Gurdwara Sahib, Amargarh, Teh. Malerkotla. In 2002, Gram Panchayat Village Rampur Chhanna donated a piece of approx. 30 Bighas of Land for construction of School Campus. Accordingly School Started functioning from its present location from April 2004. The inauguration of the new complex was done by Sh. Mahesh Inder Singh Grewal, Secretary, Nankana Sahib Public School, Rampur Chhanna, Teh. Malerkotla, Dist. Sangrur, Education Trust Ludhiana.
The School got Affiliation to P.S.E.B. Mohali upto 8th Standard under ID No. 3683 during 2007 and further upto 10th standard under ID no. SS 11427 during 2009. The School from Very beginning is showing 100% Academic Results in all Classes. The Present Location is well connected with Nabha- Malerkotla Cities by Main Road for getting Services of the good faculties.
